The tournament will run as one open section.
Money prizes will be confirmed after all entry fees have been collected.
Please arrive by 10am at latest and be seated by 10:10am for opening announcements.
No food allowed in playing hall. Drinks permitted at boards.

Entry fees:
12 pounds per player (if paid in advance by 12 noon on Wednesday 26th February)
15 pounds cash on the day (if space is still available, only players who pay in advance will be guaranteed a space)
Please note, this is one of the official annual UCU events (we have 6 throughout the season) and therefore we can't offer free entry for additional family members, all entrants need to pay the exact same entry fee for this event.
Deadline to enter is 12 noon on Wednesday 26th February. Players will be added to entry list after entry fee is received.
Entrants should be paid-up members of the Irish Chess Union [ICU] or Ulster Chess Union [UCU].

UCU membership can be paid in cash on morning of the event prior to round 1.
A half point travelling bye is available for Round 1 only but it must be requested by 12 noon on Wednesday 26 February. Any requests after this deadline will result in a zero point bye, i.e. the player will be recorded as absent.
