- Bangor Webbs 4-1 Ballynafeigh 4

There was more good news for the leaders the following night as nearest rivals QUB 2 were beaten by a strong Kelly's Heroes side, despite the best efforts of Alan York (1247), who beat Craig Stevenson (1343), and Samuel Ngieng and Bernard McCaughey who drew with higher-rated opposition. Bangor Webbs are off the bottom of the table as they beat Ballynafeigh 4, while Civil Service and Fruithill went to a draw.
