The Culturlann on the Falls Road played host to the Comórtas Fichille Chúige Uladh 2016, a tournament organised by WCM Una O'Boyle and contested by teams from Ulster's Irish-language primary schools. Gaelscoil Leím an Mhadaidh 1 came out on top ahead of Gaelscoil Leím an Mhadaidh 2, while Scoil Uí Neill 1 narrowly took third place from Scoil Uí Neill 3.
