Congratulations to Strand 1 and Belfast South 2 (Kelly's Heroes) on winning the Division 1 and Division 2 league titles respectively.
4 of our young players make their FIDE blitz debuts in the July rating list
Brendan Jamison has been a driving force to get as many of our local players onto the FIDE rating ladder. So far in 2022, he has held 12 FIDE rated events during Jan-May and has many more planned for Sept-Dec. This remains his top passion within the local chess scene and each month sees about 4 new local players appear on the FIDE rating lists.
