Please note, we expect the prize fund to increase further, once the remainder of chess players pay their tournament fees. Anyone unpaid before the deadline of 12 noon on Saturday 9 November must pay the late entry fee of £30 (irrespective of age). For any players needing to withdraw, 24 hours notice must be given to get a full refund, i.e. withdrawal must take place before 7:30pm on Thursday 15th November. After that, your entry will be transferred to our next weekender, the Williamson Shield in January 2025.

Players must be seated at 7:25pm for tournament announcements on Friday 16 November. All clocks will start at exactly 7:30pm. Arriving late disrupts all the players in the hall. Arrive early. Turn phone off before entering hall and enter the hall with your pen in hand.
REMEMBER:
No food allowed anywhere in playing hall. You must eat food outside the playing hall. Only drinks are permitted at the tables.
