Belfast South Finale
With just 1 week to go the tournament has reached its climax.
While the section grading prizes are already decided - Philip Morrison ( lower section £20) and Chris Armstrong ( upper section £20) the overall tournament winner ( £60) and runner-up ( £40) prizes are both in contention between 4 or 5 players.
- Bruce Maclean is leading on 68% but has to play on the last night,
- as does Chris Armstrong, currently on 67%.
- John Bryars has posted a creditable 67%
- and Ian Woodfield is lurking with 65% and could increase his percentage on the last night.
Best game prize ( £10) for the second half of the tournament goes to Martin Kelly for his game against Cathal Murphy, making up for being on the receiving end of the best game pre- Christmas which went to Robert Lavery ( £10).
