The QUB Rapid returns to Belfast for 2010 with a massive £1,000 prize fund! Northern Ireland's richest ever one day chess event is set to reach new heights in its fifth year and provide an unmissable highlight in the Belfast chess calendar. So get involved!

PRIZE FUND: £1,000 guaranteed. 1st place = £400, 2nd place = £200, 3rd place = £100. Grading prizes = £300
DATE: Saturday March 20th 2010
TIME: 12-7pm
VENUE: Queen's University Belfast Students Union, Club Rooms, 3rd floor
FORMAT: 5 rounds, 25mins each
ENTRY FEE: Standard = £12, Club member = £7, Women = FREE. *£2 reduction if entrance fee received by March 1st
Players can enter in advance or just turn up on the day. Advance entries should be sent to Chris Millar, 12 Glenarm Square, Belfast, BT10 0FD - with payment made via cheque to "QUB Chess Club".
FACILITIES: Shop, cafe and bar facilities are available in the SU ground and 1st floors
